Myth Busting the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) Lie. Many X trolls advance the narrative the MIC is all about profiteering. The truth is, most MICs despise war from a business perspective. Here's why: MICs, by definition, are companies. And as companies, they survive by profit. In peacetime, like other companies, they can plan, forecast and craft profit driven long range strategies. 'War' screws that up. For example, imagine company 'X' that makes war widgets. When war breaks out, government expects X to immediately ramp production. Logistics, Manpower, Operations, and all the once 'stable' operations are now disrupted (costs money). As company X ramps to the nation's demand, long range plans and contracts are lost, costing penalties. Further, once the war ends, the massive production rates must be halted, again disrupting logistics, manpower (think unions) and ops (costing money). The TRUTH is, the MIC is FAR better when arming nations in peacetime to defend themselves... helping ensure nefarious warmongering nations (think Russia) are forced to think twice before attacking.

@fjzeit Sounds like hell! as I stare at my home office dual monitor setup with mechanical keyboard while I listen to Cake on my Sony bookshelf speaker setup via iTunes. I just promoted a pair of Domain controllers. I think I might go make some tea in my own Keurig!

Iâm not upset, I am saying thatâs not what they and others are upset about. Musk has a personal agenda. He isnât doing that his from the goodness of his heart. Itâs not surprising people would take issue with it. If them Democrats did the same thing you cucks would be screaming for civil war by now.

No such thing here in Texas. The insects and frogs rule the night. You are right for me itâs the wind through the pines on a winter day in the mountains of Colorado while a light snow falls. I have had the privilege of freezing my butt off while witnessing that more than once. Very calming better than sleep.
