As a researcher or surveyor, aren't you supposed to be fluent in the languages of the area where you're conducting your research????????
I don't know if it's pride ya atumbuka but the amount of people up north who genuinely cannot speak chichewa shocked me when I was doing a numerator job for self help Africa, like I needed an interpreter to talk an 80 something year old Malawian who couldn't speak chichewa lol
