Two excellent athletes, two great students and two amazing people got the chance to sign their national letters of intent today. Congratulations to Connor Schwalm on his commitment to Hampden Sydney for football and Ja Faulkner on his commitment to Lenoir-Rhyne for football.

This team battled. Not just tonight, but throughout all 26 games over the year. There are no harder working players or coaches. This team showed up Sunday-Saturday and worked hard to be in this moment.

I would not trade this group for any other group. An amazing group of players, coaches, fans, cheerleaders, but most importantly people. Every single person has helped us get to where we finished. Not another place I would rather be. So grateful I have another 2 years here.

Not long after Caden came to live with us, we recognized he had a gift that could be honed with hard work.
Still, after some ups and downs, he spent much of this year preparing mentally for life after competitive running.
Turns out, he can do that later.
Proud of you, son.
Still time for you to cancel dinner reservations and get over to Shark Park at 6:00 PM for first pitch of the region series against the Carolina Forest Panthers!
It’s tough to say I will never play high school sports again due to having a torn ACL last Friday. This is not the end, it’s a new beginning. I’ll come back stronger than ever. I’m never going to give up on my dream. Keep going Uno. I know the man upstairs got me❤️🙏🏾
The Sharks defense was able to make a huge and-goal stand early in the game. While on the defensive side, on the Swamp Foxes final drive, they were picked off by Rylan Williams on the 21 where we were able to run 2 plays, where Ashley Ridge called their timeouts.
Last night, we took a 35-16 win against Socastee, taking the Battle of 707 for JV. Started off with a strong first half, and lead 28-0 at halftime. We were able to get a lot of players in there last night, and many were very productive.
In other news, it has dropped more than 15 degrees since we have been out here this evening.
St. James assistant coach Hugh Benton offered me hand warmers before the game. I declined, and I am regretting that decision.
