The measures of what makes someone popular these days are very very stupid. More followers across platforms, or whatever BS they judge by. Canelo is a generational talent that does a real thing. Jake Paul is a social media dork that has 12 year olds following him.
Google Trends shows that Canelo Alvarez is only more popular than Jake Paul in two countries across the world (Mexico & Guatemala).
