I don’t think you understand this at all. Doing that for one case means you do it for all. This means paying someone to do it for every single person claiming legal aid . That costs extra money on top of the legal aid. The governments of the last few years have decided it is clearly not cost effective to do this. Or else they would be doing it. What part of this don’t you understand?

Mate, what are you on about? I’m saying that they will do a cost benefit analysis on means testing everything they hand out. If something is means tested, clearly there is enough potential fraud to make it cost effective. If something isn’t means tested, clearly there isn’t enough potential fraud to make it cost effective. If it was cost effective to means test legal aid, it would already be being done. Any government doesn’t want to give out a penny more than it needs to.

@jchrist57239072 @Politocrit1 @alexharmstrong If it saved more money by means testing legal aid they’d have done it by now. Means testing with benefits clearly saves money rather than costs money.

@7ontheshirt @gunnerineirinn Changing the subject are we? Why are you saying Haaland tried to fight a kid? What kid? Show me the video? This is exactly how you’ve reacted to every single one of my tweets. Annoying, isn’t it.

You could beat us for the next 20 games in a row if we came out of it with City winning the next 10 leagues. I think that’s the difference between you and me. You are more than happy with results. I only care about the results if they lead to trophies. And I didn’t mean autistic as a slur. But the way you’ve reacted to every single one of my tweets is extremely autistic. I’ll write 250 words explaining a nuanced point and you’ll go on about one of them.

@7ontheshirt @gunnerineirinn HAALAND DIDNT TRY TO FIGHT A KID. HE SAID WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU. HE DIDNT SCREAM AT THE OPPOSITE MANAGER. HE SAID STAY HUMBLE. HE DIDNT SCREAM WHY ARE YOU LYING TO MAKE STUFF UP? That’s how you’ve reacted to every single one of my tweets.

@7ontheshirt @gunnerineirinn Ok, you’re being autistic again. Sure. Too emotional. It happens. But it happens a lot less with City and we win a lot more trophies than you. Maybe as a team you can learn from that? Can you even admit that?

I’ve been talking about letting emotion get to Arsenal for years. Against City, New Year’s Day 3 years ago you didn’t get a penalty you wanted, City then got one, and your entire team and stadium lost their head, Gabriel got himself sent off within 5 minutes of the penalty and Rodri scored to win. Everyone involved in the club spent the days after blaming the corrupt ref when you were the better team that day and could have easily beat us, but you lost that game yourself. Brighton this year. Rice gets into a tussle when on a yellow, loses his head and kicks the ball away to get himself sent off. You go on to draw the game, and again, after the game, everyone involved in the club spent the weeks after blaming the corrupt ref and looking for other delaying restart yellows when you could have easily kept 11 men on the pitch if Rice could have just kept his head. And a counter-example for Coty. Last season, against Forest, Rodri lost his head to MGW. Hand on the throat. Was soft, MGW made the most of it and Rodri got sent off, almost lost us the game. As a club we didn’t spend the weeks after lambasting corrupt refs. We called Rodri out as stupid and that he needs to learn. And he did. I can keep going on, but your players regularly act irrationally and don’t have the focus and get defended by the entire club and the fanbase. I don’t understand why, but again, I’m not an Arsenal fan. If it carries on like this, great for me as a city fan. I just don’t understand why I’m taking the effort to tell you this and think I’m acting in bad faith.

@jchrist57239072 @Politocrit1 @alexharmstrong You realise how much more it would cost to you as a tax payer to means test legal aid? Every single person claiming legal aid would have to be vetted to make sure they can’t afford it and then in a lot of cases they’ll end up paying anyway.

I didn’t make anything up. I misspoke about what I meant, I clarified what I meant and you have autistically not been able to let it go… Not just emotion. But mentality. You lot had Rodri literally telling you that your players showed to City they didn’t have the dog in them to win it. And your clubs reaction to that? Emotional and over-reactionary rather than taking it as a lesson for next time. And now, the season after, you’re getting pumped up for the wrong games and likely not going to win a trophy again. I’ll ask you what I asked the other fan I’m tweeting. How many years would this have to keep happening (no trophies), for you to look back and actually admit there’s a possibility the players could have been better in how they treat games/results?

Are you really going to get stuck pedantically on one point? I clarified what I meant. You were emotionally overloaded for the game, as though it was a league winner or a cup winner. If you really are going to be that pedantic, then yes, I didn’t mean to literally mean “like you won the league”. I was alluding to how important you saw the game, as if it was a league winner. Now we’re past you being pedantic and arsey about one point I made among a plethora of good ones, can you address my other points now?

@gunnerineirinn @7ontheshirt You can blabber on about all the oil money and buying the league and whatever but I saw them win the league on the pitch. You’re just putting your head in the sand. Would you look back on this different if you don’t win the league in the next 5 years? 10 years? 15 years?

I’m saying that to me, it looked like your players on a whole prepared emotionally for that game like it was a cup final, or a league final day. My justification? Gabriel in Haalands face 2 minutes into the game. It was personal to them. That’s fine, but you better back it up. In that week you had the City game, a league game which is a bit important but with the context of you being 6-9 points behind, and a semi final of a cup. To emotionally build yourself up for the City game and celebrate it like that then to go and lose in the fashion you did in the midweek is shocking. As an Arsenal fan I’d be absolutely fuming. But for some reason all I see is Arsenal fans defending their team for focusing on the completely wrong game. But as I say, you lot do you lot. Feel free to answer my question now.

I know what winning the league looks like. I’ve seen my team do it year in year out for the largest part of the last decade. I see the mentality of the teams that have won it for us. And he said year in year out that this Arsenal team are missing it at the moment. As an Arsenal fan why do you shrug that off? You’ve got Rodri coming out saying “we knew their heads weren’t there”, and rather than everyone taking that as a lesson for the next year, you come back and react emotionally, and look what happens, you’re 7 points off the league. Without getting emotional can you just read that and explain why here I’m getting this wrong?

Look, I’ve tried a lot with Arsenal fans to get their heads round this. You lot clearly don’t want to know. That’s fine. But you d got a lot of fans and players of teams they’ve watched win everything for ten years pointing out problems with the focus and mentality of your players, and every year you shrug it off and every year you win nothing. How many years til you start realising we were right?
