Day 5 on my own with the baby as my partner has gone back to work. We’re doing ok! 🙌 Had the 6wk check with GP today for both of us. Lovely female GP who said we were both doing really well. 😊

He’s phasing back to work this week so I’ll lose my late morning solo nap. 😫 Going to try expressing some milk so he can do an early morning feed to let me nap alone before he goes to work 🤞but he’s not a morning person (!) so we’ll see….

@katkatski She came when I was awake! Just a bit embarrassed about the cat sick on the bedroom floor that we hadn’t cleaned up yet. 😬

I got up at 6 to feed and sent my partner to sleep until 10am. My partner is a champion sleeper so I think this is probably harder for him! I’m used to light, broken sleep and daytime naps.
