Stats Canada is showing that Alberta continues to have the lowest inflation rate in all of Canada. Measures like the electricity rebate and fuel tax suspension are combatting inflation and putting money back in Albertans’ pockets.

Budget 2023 increases funding for school bus transportation, offsetting rising costs, supporting school choice, and providing a ride for an additional 80,000 students with a new family friendly distance eligibility. This is great news for parents and families! #ableg

The carbon tax makes the cost of everything from home heating and electricity to your grocery bills more expensive. We urge the federal government to take the affordability crisis seriously and immediately cancel the increase to the carbon tax - better yet, eliminate it.

If passed, Bill 10 would implement many of the technical pieces introduced in Budget 2023. Together, all of the measures introduced in this bill would provide fiscal stability and would ensure business investment continues to be preferential to Alberta.
