I'm probably gonna start a fight with this one...but spring football games at the high school level shouldn't exist. Play ball in the fall so kids don't feel pressured to leave their spring sports to participate due to fear of punishment or fear of missing out.
What opinion about sports do you have that would put you in this position against everyone else?

Dear football coaches (not all),
We (track coaches) don’t come take athletes from your team to workout with us during your season, why are we failing to receive the same respect during ours?
Stop trying to threaten and punish kids participating in other sports. 🚶🏾♂️🎤

3 high school kids have run 44…to my knowledge none have ever run under 1:46. I’d say the 1:43 was more impressive based on those facts.

With the right coaching, work ethic, and events, you never know what a kid might turn out to be.
I have a kid this year that started out struggling to run under 1:45 in the 400. By week 8, he's now running REPEAT 400's in 1:30 with 1-2 min rest like it's nothing. Ijs.

The track coach urge not to pull your hair out when a senior comes to you asking for help to get a scholarship after they've ignored your advice to join the team for 3.5 years b/c they thought they'd get a football & basketball offer. Then we do but legit feel like this inside 👇

Dropped my son off at college today. Man that was hard. Holding back tears the entire day. So proud of him and the man he’s become. Praying for great decisions and protection while he’s on his own for the first time now.

After watching this 20x, it looks like she was looking directly at the the Tennessee runner (Similar white top with a T on the chest area). I'm pretty sure that wasn't Texas' normal 2nd leg either. Clear moment of confusion. Kennedy Simon is on point 99.9% of the time.

Thank you. USATF has to do a better job of marketing. We never know when stuff is happening so it’s hard to support. Maybe they could setup text message notifications if they haven’t already.

That's what it boils down to psychologically. From that brief explanation, it simply looks like, "I'm the only one who can discipline my child" when it comes to school rules. Is it that difficult to see how that can become a slippery slope? Food for thought...that's all.

We encourage our kids to make a choice. Doing dual workouts doesn’t serve them well in our experience. It actually has a huge impact on their performance during the season.

What a great moment. If y’all don’t know his story, he was hospitalized after being hit with an implement a couple of years ago. Wasn’t certain he would make it, let alone compete in sports again. Yesterday, he stood atop the podium as the best in class. Congrats Seth!

The way I laughed at that during the ceremony should’ve been a crime. I lost weight and gained 3 new abs instantly. One of the best moments of the championship by far.
