A huge thank you to the @local130 Plumbers Union for launching the first-ever for Lake County Bridge Program with .@Grayslake127 ! The 16-class session taught seniors math for the trades, tool safety, and project-based learning. Next, students will apply to the trades with support from internship coordinators @doddo730 & @cplaza127 . Navig8 Lake was a smashing success! Thanks Michael Karner, Gina Schuyler, and the many others who helped organize. 50 Lake County schools, 4200 8-12 graders explored many different careers and companies. D127 was glad to be a part of it.
