If, since 2010, nurses had 27% pay increases, and hospitals 27% fewer bed reductions, there'd be no need for strikes and patients wouldn't be dying in hospital car parks or corridors
If you add together the starting pay of a nurse, a police officer, and a firefighter, it is still less than what an MP earns, before any 2nd jobs and generous expenses are even considered.
It’s not hard to see where we are going wrong.

Excellent thread. Tories have put the NHS into ICU and Labour have slapped a DNR on it when they should be promising to devote resources to its recovery. Labour are a threat to UK universal health care. No one wants what is being offered except Labour’s private provider donors.
