#etec681 Q7 cont’d I liked the humour and gif’s. It was more down to earth than a typical discussion and you have to constantly write and not overthink, which is engaging- physically and mentally

Q7: I thought I wouldn’t be able to “find” the discussion like it was some kind of forum somewhere else, but thanks to the article I did. #etec681

I thought workshopping and helping each other to refine work promoted camaraderie and mutual aid and seeing things from another perspective or benefitting from a different skill set. #etec681

I feel connection comes from vulnerability and sharing frustrations, insecurities or what we don’t understand. I think in DE Or an academic setting there should be an environment that promotes “real talk” and vulnerability, and not simply saying “the right” things. #etec681

I’d like to find accessible easy to use software that matches people based on their responses/needs for a Riipen project. This could also be used to leverage students together for mutual learning, discussion, networking or projects #etec681

I’ve been loving these mapping apps that are online for mapping process or experience. #etec681

@JulianH_Edu It’s refreshing to hear someone say that ID doesn’t have to be so narrow. I liked that Dr. Corrigan also presented different design process frameworks

Q4: #etec681 one hack Dr. Corrigan has used is for us to all divide and conquer to teach each other about different resources. This is efficient, effective but also promotes a team atmosphere and solidarity instead of competition

@JGSlive I think a lot of doulas weren’t thrilled about it and technology is a barrier to many, but I think those that got organized for it will probably keep some aspects remote in the interest of time. It also got them to produce some educational materials

@Vishali__N I heard about that course I think. I know there was one offered about how to be happy, not just the science through an Ivy League school. That must be it!

I didn’t complete a tour management certification course because I didn’t see the reward or find it connected to reality. I also withdrew from a tech class for lack of support, hands on exercises and in-person support #ETEC681

#ETEC681 i really liked ETEC693 being about OER’s and being completely DE. I thought it fit. I also liked that it was project based. I find DE more engaging when renewable, project-based and there are opportunities to move beyond class: conferences, Riipen, research opportunity

This is Mélissa. This is also new to me. I’ve had a Twitter account for 8 years, that I’ve never used….guess I’m starting today. #ETEC681 last session of MA in Ed Tech. Reflecting a lot on my internship, DE, the senses and my future!
