It's my parents' 52nd wedding anniversary today. My mum shared this pic of them, which I haven't seen for years. Lots of comments saying we look alike. As I said in my reply - if you have to share someone's face, I reckon this is a good'un. Happy anniversary, Ma and Pa!

There's a particular sort of drive you get as a novelist when you're writing something both your agent AND your editor are excited about. I've been excited about this one since I had the idea for it. Now to see how it reads on paper... Love this bit.

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.
