People underestimate how much of a skill gap there was in Halo 5. Bound beat Abature and Too Nice in a 1v2 on Halo 5. I'm interested to see if a skill gap like that opens up in the later years of Halo Infinite.

All they had to do was focus on the Main story, recreate the badass moments and give love to the boss battles that players could only experience by playing instead of watching in a cinematic setting.

I don't get what esports has to do with your ability to play casual Halo? The beauty of Halo is you can play how you want. There is a custom game browser, big team battle, husky raid. Don't play ranked or HCS. No one wants 343 to make big sweeping changes to the casual experience
Esports wasnt what made me love Halo it was stupid custom games shit like this. I prefer wacky, stupid fun stuff over annoying sweats bitching about the sandbox sixteen times a week.

Weapon starts for next season of HCS should be map dependent. Large maps with long crosses like Recharge should be BR start. Smaller maps like Aquarias would benefit from Bandit starts IMO. What do you think?

I find the assault rifle in Halo Infinite to be deeply unfun.
It is not a utility weapon but a do it all weapon that does so much damage from range. I hate getting killed by it and it feels cheesy to get kills with it.

Usually when Halo adds something new I'm skeptical that it will be good, but the Quantum Translocator has quickly become my favorite equipment. Love the way it allows you to make heads up plays and cover space quickly.
