Well, that's @skytv cancelled. Contract's up in December and they told me the monthly payment would have gone up from £163 to more than £180 a month. So much for loyalty. I've been with them for more than 30 years. Time to move on 😃

Last time I interviewed Mark Hughes was after Brazil beat Wales (Sparkie was the Wales manager) 3-0 at the Millennium Stadium in May 2000, for the Birmingham Evening Mail. Same night as I met Ryan Giggs. Asked him if he'd be fit for Wales' European clash the following week after he missed the game. He told me to F Off. A minute later, Rivaldo came out of the dressing room and I spoke to him. He was brilliant and I interviewed him through an interpretor. A great player and a Welsh tit. I've been banging on about @officialcufc hiring a high-profile boss since the signing of Williamson. Now they've done it! Mark Hughes has been brought in to try and save the Blues. Well done, there's hope now.
