New Year seems like a good time for a reminder to the conspiracy folks or those curious who follow me. No one has paid me or promised me anything at any time past or present for any opinions I discuss on stocks. If that ever changes, it will be properly disclosed. I am not affiliated with any group nor do I receive or give or coordinate with anyone on any talking points. My content is my own personal due diligence and my opinions. My college degree was Economics with minor studies in Accounting, Finance and banking. I am not a CPA or a licensed financial advisor nor do I give any of you personal financial advice. I just share opinions. I read filings and try to apply common sense, not conspiracy theories. Always read company 10-Q filings and company disclosed Risk Factors before making an investment. If you don’t understand them seek assistance from a certified professional. PS - I do not short stocks either. Anyone suggesting some conspiracy other than I am a normal dude like you who has opinions I am freely expressing is lying to you, or has extreme paranoia issues.

Lunch with the wife and youngest kiddo at #Hopfields. If you’re ever in Austin and looking for a quaint little French restaurant near campus with a French Quarter feel, this spot is recommended. Just one more year to go for his Masters then he’ll be at some big 4 accounting firm or investment bank.

No 5% rule. An institutional investment manager must file if they manage $100 million or more in Section 13(f) securities, regardless of the ownership percentage in individual companies. The filing includes all Section 13(f) securities they hold, even if their stake in each company is less than 5%.

I am tracking dozens of those CEO's who jumped on the naked short / ShareIntel bandwagon and they have done zilch for their shareholders except distract them with incessant PRs, Space Calls and Lives with talk about naked shorts while those very same CEOs are doing massive dilution. Many have driven their companies into Ch11. It's fine if you need to dilute to stay alive - investors need to do their own DD, read the filing Risk Factors and be accountable for their own choices. But the blantent CEO naked short grift is horrible.

@Tiggersdad2 It will come down to Congress, but hopefully a message is being sent in the meantime, and members of both parties need to get with the program. No excuses for anyone.

@Tiggersdad2 I don't care about USAID specifically. Go through everything. Cut them all. Waste is everywhere, saw it myself as a military member, sure it is worse at desk jobs.
