@tyillc Well. Look at some of the examples that DOGE has brought up as egregious examples of fraud. You know exactly what I'm talking about. These don't have to be large numbers individually. Fraud is fraud. With regard to farmers, we can always reclassify that under USDA. Simple.

Fraud (noun) 1) A deception practiced in order to induce another to give up possession of property or surrender a right. 2) A piece of trickery; a trick I don't believe they're calling things "fraud" just because they don't align with ideology. I do believe they're calling things fraud that have been gained through corrupt means and/or deviate so significantly from the purpose of the agency that it's a form of deception or trickery. However, I do believe democrats are projecting their own modus operandi onto Trump and Musk. Projection is a significant tool of their trade craft.

You can't beat somethin' with nothin'. China has a trillion-dollar Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) to win influence around the world. USAID was already a fraction of BRI. Shutting down or reducing USAID would mean giving up, and letting China become the world's hegemon. Very imprudent.

@CosmicChirp @DOGE Tax Credits we were PROMISED FOR KEEPING PEOPLE EMPLOYED DURING COVID. It's long over. We've spent the money. We kept people on staff BECAUSE we believed we'd actually be paid quickly to bridge the gap. We obviously had a gap in revenue during that time. STILL WAITING.
