i finished the closeup thomas today, and even though he’s not 100% identical to my normal thomas, i’m still really really happy with how he turned out :)
i got a big ertl pullback thomas and percy recently and noticed that the thomas’ wheels are the same size as extra large wooden railway wheels
so naturally i felt the need to make him a wooden railway chassis so he can be a closeup model for filming

i’m making a prop ‘replica’ of the o gauge pilot thomas model, using the few supposed images of it available to model it in tinkercad, and print it out to fit it on a lionel thomas chassis :)
