The mentality golfers have towards golf course workers is something I hope to see change soon. Was hit by a ball recently, the golfer didn’t acknowledge it and kept playing. Today as I’m walking off to let golfers hit you could hear one of the old guys say “hope you hit that guy”.

We’re all out there for similar reasons and it’s because we love the game. Injuring or potentially killing one of your local golf course worker won’t speed up your round or lower your handicap! Anyway, rant over, thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

It has been a great first few weeks adjusting to the city life and working for the city as well. Been a busy few weeks getting the course ready for the 2022 Ontario Summer games but results speak for themselves.

This sport is pretty special. My mom got her first set of clubs this year and officially has the “bug”. When we first moved to Canada we both didn’t have a clue about what golf was. Now look at us 😂
