I've written a FREE Galbraith & Pole short story for Valentine's next Friday. You don't need to have read any of the books to enjoy it but, if you want to, you can get 'Something Wicked' free today and tomorrow. Details on my blog: #MondayBlogs

This is a fascinating post. Could the notoriously prudish George III really have had an illegitimate son? #MondayBlogs

@stacytownend71 Depends very much on your genre/writing style. In the Burke books the only reliably recurring characters from book to book are Burke and his sidekick. I obviously can't bump either of them off. As the books are pretty much self-contained, the other characters can die.

@stacytownend71 people met once who turn up later and meet awful deaths, one love interest (made me cry), a passing civilian who gets in too deep and so on. Try to keep it down to two or three per book. And remember my books are set in the bloody wars with France.

I love a good vampire tale. That's why I write them. And 'Vampires of York Tower' is a good vampire story. My review is on my blog. #TuesdayBookBlog
