Whale Tales Vol 5 There wasn’t a whale alive—or human for that matter—who hadn’t heard of Big Marv. He wasn’t just a fisherman; he was the fisherman. Marv’s skills with a rod and net were legendary, and his catches were the stuff of tall tales. Rumor had it, he once caught a school of tuna so large it fed an entire seaside village for a week. To celebrate his success, Marv had a golden grill custom-fitted for his massive baleen, each tooth a sparkling testament to his mastery of the trade. But even legends grow tired. After decades on the water, Marv decided to retire, trading stormy seas and early mornings for a quieter life on land. At first, he enjoyed the peace, but soon, boredom set in. Marv wasn’t built to sit around—he needed something to do. So, he walked into the nearest café, plopped his well-worn fisherman’s hat on the counter, and applied for a job as a barista. The owners, equal parts confused and impressed, couldn’t say no. Now, Marv has swapped fishing rods for espresso machines. At “The Daily Catch Café,” he’s the star of the show, pulling perfect shots of espresso with the same precision he once used to reel in record-breaking fish. He keeps his fisherman’s hat firmly on his head, even while steaming milk, and his gold grill glints as he flashes customers his toothy grin. Though Marv’s café work is miles away from his fishing days, his larger-than-life personality keeps him a local favorite. He’s known for shouting out nautical-themed drink orders like “Captain’s Caramel Latte” or “Harpoon Hazelnut Brew,” and he’s always ready with a salty joke or a story about the one that got away. For Marv, life at the café may not be as thrilling as the open sea, but it’s enough to keep him busy—and he’s learned that even on dry land, a little charm and a lot of coffee can go a long way.

Whale Tales Vol 4 Meet Winston, a young whale born into unimaginable wealth, thanks to his family’s generations of undersea empire-building in kelp harvesting and ocean-floor pearl mining. As the heir to the fortune, Winston had every luxury imaginable—except the one thing he truly wanted: to feel content. Frustrated by the expectations and responsibilities placed on him, he developed a fiery temper and a reputation for being insufferably entitled. Then one day, everything changed when Winston stumbled upon Mouse World, the most magical theme park on Earth. With its whimsical mascot, Captain Whiskers, and its sprawling lands filled with rides, shows, and sugary treats, Mouse World became Winston’s escape from his high-pressure life. The first time he waddled down Whiskers’ Way with a caramel krill cone in his fin, he felt like a whole new whale. Now, Winston is Mouse World’s most devoted fan. He visits so often that park employees know him by name—and by his tantrums if the line for “Splashin’ Sea Voyage” is too long. His collection of Mouse World merchandise could fill a cruise liner, and he’s the proud owner of a custom VIP pass that allows him unlimited rides and priority churros. Despite his spoiled nature, Mouse World has become Winston’s happy place, and it’s begun to soften his blustery demeanor. He’s even started funding new attractions, like “Whale Tales Adventure,” to bring his undersea friends to the park. Though he’s still quick to stomp a fin if things don’t go his way, he’s happiest in the glow of Mouse World’s fireworks, caramel krill cone in hand, dreaming of a world as magical as his favorite theme park.
