This guy is an absolute political hack and cannot be trusted. Whatever you think of the actions taken by the Trump Administration, neither Patel nor Bondi are confirmed and have no official role (yet). Schiff knows this but wants you to believe they lied to him and are acting in ways contrary to their respective testimonies. FBI Director nominee Kash Patel promised no retribution. The next day, we have this grotesque purge at the FBI. Bondi said she would examine pardons on a case by case basis. Then Trump gave 1550 pardons overnight. Their confirmation commitments mean nothing.

You’re exactly right. We have 3 branches of government. Which branch does the FEC fall under? It’s clearly the Executive. Trump heads that branch. Congress can claim oversight, but the president can claim it’s his right to manage his branch. It seems the Supreme Court is going to have to address this.
