Frustrating two days blocked from getting to the fight against HTS/ISIS. I pointed out we had been more dangerous places. Reply: "nobody here knew you then or minded much if you got yourself killed". I think that's a back-handed compliment.

In 2015, Nasrallah's Hezbollah fighters, alongside Assad forces, besieged the Syrian town of Madaya, home to 42,000. They placed a total blockade on food. Dozens died of starvation. When aid workers finally entered, they saw "walking skeletons."

From the central prison in Afrin City alone, the YPG handed over about 100 Kurdish opponents to the Assad regime in 2018 before TR/SNA came to Afrin. I interviewed someone who came out of that Afrin prison and someone who got out from Damascus through connections and money. A 3rd
