What makes both the accidental and deliberate misrepresentation of scenes from Syria as being from Gaza is that the world at large was largely indifferent to Syrian suffering, whilst large sections of the left revelled in it.
This clip is from Abdallah AlKhatib’s film in Yarmouk Camp, Syria. Residents were living under a brutal siege imposed by Assad regime, identical to Israel’s siege on Gaza. Assad cut off all supplies whilst bombing Yarmouk, forcing residents to surrender.
This is not Palestine.
