Really only an option if you need a distraction. Risk of getting hit there is exponentially higher though.
Yeah, that would be just unprofessional. Taking damage and your clothing getting messed up is one thing, but going into battle with a full print. There is some etiquette to fighting

Good thing he's had a crotch guard for tucking. He's fought pretty much naked before, but doing so in full clothing with a print would be crazy.
Battle armor is way better than those skin-tight suits, Mizuna's tried one once, just to try something different, that will never happen again

How do all these vigilantes walk around in skintight bloody suits all day? Half the time it rides up his arse and the sweating... And don't get him started on how many times he's heard "GYATT" and similar expressions before, during and after the mission while in that thing.
