@JxJxRider She really feels like a victim of the "We have to be as different for differents sake as possible so people don't hit us with the same complaints that Amazing Spider-man got for retelling the origin story" the movies were clearly going for.

I don't expect to be accurate about a lot of these, but these seem like reasonable guesses based on what'd be the most logical directions to take future stories or places they could actually introduce certain characters.
So my best guesses for future Sonic movie universe projects past Sonic 3 are: Shadow gets his own movie, the Black Arms are the villains. Sonic 5 is probably going to feature Blaze in some capacity. Knuckles may get another season of his show that'll be a vehicle to introduce-

Include her in this universe at all. Assuming my guess about Sonic 5 is wrong, then it could also be a loose Sonic Battle adaption featuring Emerl. Or who knows, maybe I'm wrong and Sonic 5 will be the one where we get Silver and/or Mephiles. The Deadly 6 will never appear.
