The #Ethereum Foundation has announced the dates for the deployment of the Pectra upgrade in testnets. Tim Beiko, head of protocol support at the #Ethereum Foundation, stated that the major Pectra upgrade will be deployed on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets on February 24th and March 5th, 2025, respectively. The deployment date for the mainnet upgrade will be determined on March 6th, 2025. The upgrade includes eight significant improvements to #Ethereum, including expanding the functionality of EOA wallets, increasing the validator staking limit, and implementing the PeerDAS network data availability protocol.

Coinbase product lead Conor Grogan alleges that Kraken may possess information identifying Satoshi Nakamoto. Arkham Intelligence recently added 22,000 addresses to its list of wallets purportedly linked to Nakamoto, with a combined balance exceeding 1.09 million #BTC ($108 billion). Grogan discovered 24 outgoing transactions from these wallets, many of which were sent to the address 1PYYj, associated with the Canadian exchange CaVirtEx. CaVirtEx was acquired by Kraken in 2016, which Grogan believes could give Kraken access to the owner's KYC data.
