@Srirachachau
She helped change her image in her last years from a tragic recluse to a happy woman who walked away from a life she no longer wanted to one with close friends and a partner who loved her
@decoyrobot
She was really good at it too. Like this is not the example to use of a too young actor. Her chemistry with Bogart was hot enough to make asphalt melt.
@anne_theriault
And then the joke of the episode was that there wasn’t anything to fear. It was all about paranoia and mass panic and it was just inducing that in us
@Maxisntheree
Their bond is everything. As sisters in a highly competitive field it would be easy for a rivalry to form and instead they seem incredibly tight.
@Douggernaut_2
Legit one of the coolest stories ever. Especially since you can start it with Cameron randomly meeting GDT at the absolute beginning of his career and deciding this was the guy he would invest everything in. And being 100000000% right.
@HeylKatme
The genius is as a Poirot junkie knowing what exactly THIS reference means. (Not just that it could be any one of them but that it’s all of them)
@racquelgates
That this scene was built out of an authentic conversation between the three gives it respect you don’t usually see. Billingsley is really trying to match them without mocking them.
I grew up being taught the proper response to seeing a trans woman was to vomit and cry in horror because how dare they look attractive. And then I see Hunter Schafer and wonder what the hell they were talking about. She’s a goddess.
So this was going to be a thread for Sunday but it’s Friday. A long week is over. I’m drawing the best of my ATJ red carpet, photoshoot, and candid photos because I can. I’ll run this through the day.
@TheAlexSylvian
They literally were trying to figure out what the villain should look like when someone pitched Cthulhu and they realized there was no legal reason it couldn’t be him. So they decided “hey we’re a Cthulhu movie”
@GunnerDobbins
The way Tennant plays him oozing charm and looking sharp yet by the end making you nauseous at the sight of him because he’s a child man is perfect.
This is why digital deaging is bad. Instead of a plastic toy on the screen you have a flesh and blood person who sounds so much like Theron the only reason I know it’s not is I know Anya’s voice so well I can tell it’s hers channeling Theron perfectly.
Oh. I BET they shut their damned mouths. Good god. The idea of trying to fire someone for not being sexy enough before they went to the peak of the damned mountain of sexiness is insane.
Truest thing ever said about BATMAN FOREVER. On the commentary, Schumacher says WB execs didn’t think she was sexy enough and wanted her fired before filming began.
He said those calls stopped once they shot the rooftop scene
@bornposting
It’s honestly the truest film version. It keeps the cowboy. It keeps Van Helsing weird. It’s horribly structured. It replicates the book. Fun fact: a therapist made me see it. Long story
Not in the mood to engage with the discussion of the day (because I would lose). So instead here’s a gorgeous blonde with perfect legs. That I like discussing. And we all win then.
