Italian composer Ennio Morricone dies at age 91
Ennio Morricone, who won an Oscar for his work on Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, died in Rome due to complications following a fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Morricone has more than 500 scoring credits to his name and worked on iconic films including The Thing, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, as well television shows such as The Simpsons and The Sopranos.
