The amount of misinformation and Conspiracy Theories surrounding the Canonization of the Bible is astounding. So I thought I would dispel some common myths and then give the REAL History of how the Bible came to be in the form we have it today.

@Global_Occupant @mfjlewis Not to mention that we have HUNDREDS of manuscripts of New Testament writings dating HUNDREDS of years before Nicaea. Unless you want to claim that Nicaea was a TIME TRAVELING Council, I think you'll need to rethink this a bit. 🤔😂

The Early Church Fathers ALL quoted liberally from the Old Testament from the 1st-3rd Centuries LONG before Nicaea. They didn't "staple on" the OT at Nicaea. It was ALWAYS used as Scripture by Christians.

He is the ETERNAL Son of God, who is Eternally Begotten in an eternal act of Generation from God's very Being. As such, he shares the Father's Divine Nature & is one in Essence with him.

@suleiman_hawwer @MrHarry198 @HockleyTyson @badazn NO early Christians believed that Jesus was merely a human prophet. Jesus Christ was preached as the Divine Son of God from the very beginning. Not even the various heresies ever taught that Jesus was just a human prophet like Moses or Isaiah.

@MrHarry198 @HockleyTyson @badazn The Christian belief is NOT "half man/half God like Hercules", nor us it similar in ANY way to pagan demigods or any pagan concept. Early Christians ABSOLUTELY believed that Jesus was FULLY (not half) God & FULLY (not half) human.

@sidXnaazz @xCrippleHx @se14738_sean @alx In this thread, you have misrepresented both the Doctrine of the Trinity itself, AND the History of that Doctrine. I have corrected both of those errors and demonstrated that the Trinity is entirely BIBLICAL and entirely MONOTHEISTIC. But YOU have refused to back YOUR claims.

@sidXnaazz @noah_nonsense @xCrippleHx @se14738_sean @alx Just because YOU don't understand what the Trinity is, doesn't mean it is nonsensical. It just means you have a Straw Man understanding of the Trinity. The Trinity is not a logical contradiction, it is a Paradox.

@sidXnaazz @noah_nonsense @xCrippleHx @se14738_sean @alx It took another 56 yrs and another Church Council in 381 AD, at Constantinople, to finally defeat Arianism. Constantine had TRIED AND FAILED to reshape Christianity into an ARIAN religion. But the Council resisted and rejected this pressure.
