The first photo was taken during the first visit to Frankfurt back in June 14, 2024. It was still bright at 21:01. The second one was taken during the latest visit in January 18, 2025 (the -2°C night). Amusing to see that heat haze truely rules the whole place no matter what.

The surface looks fine but it's extremely close to the river. I have never done it at a river bank before.

@qsk1 The placement of that white navigation light (of the B7 behind) in the frame was such a nice touch. Even more so if that was intentional.

@qsk1 I checked the chart to see where it was and I found L3 right in front of the Solamnade Terrace (I assume that was exactly where you were standing). That looks close. I wonder if the plane was towed to T3 gates.
