@tyromper I used to be REALLY bad at this with podcasts. Doing chores I'd plug into one. But made me distracted, ungrounded and not hear what my wife or son was saying in the background. Stopped listening to them other than in 'downtime' and my marriage and parenting improved.

Your happiness doesn't depend on a woman. But don't pretend you won't be happier with one.

Finding a woman who shares your values. I can't tell you how often men share this as their biggest struggle. But it's an upstream issue. Once you fix your ability to: 1) Meet women 2) Connect with women You eventually meet women you'd want to marry. (Yes, there are strategic ways of speeding this process up. But they do not override these 2 other steps).

'Alpha males' will be like: "Yeah, men don't be vulnerable with women!!" Well what the hell is sharing parts of yourself you don't even show to others if not vulnerable?

There are two sides of vulnerability: 1) Sexual vulnerability 2) Emotional vulnerability The peak of the sexual vulnerability is intercourse. And if you engage in that without escalating to a deep emotional level? The disconnect causes feelings of revulsion.
