F-T @The_doughboys 3-1 @HarbTownFC Fully deserved win for Wboro who took their chances and dominated the second half. Kelly and O’Connor with Melling and Ansell were immense and all covered every blade of the pitch. Garb can’t blame the pitch / they never used it!.

F-T @desboroughfc 0-1 @The_doughboys CHAMPIONS! Not too much football played in the second half though Wboro had the chances to put it to bed! Cue pandemonium at the final whistle in the centre circle! Niggly game on a poor surface & the ref could have done more to control it.

F-T @HinckleyLRFC 2-0. @The_doughboys Good fighting display against a side who did little to show why they are where they are. Yet another side who hoof it forward and hope for scraps. Town could easily have got something out if this and with better refereeing could have.

Deserved win in the end for Wboro as they had more of the play in the second half, creating openings. @adamrandall933 & @Speighty3 were excellent at the back under pressure and nice to see @JustinDowling7 back controlling midfield.

F-T @The_doughboys 2-1 @EynesburyRovers Fine overall performance in the end by Town who restricted the visitors’ chances and created openings through the wings. Superb display at the back by @jakegilly and line well led by @Speighty3 both worked hard.

F-T @The_doughboys 5-1 @BuckbyAFC Town back to winning ways as they beat Buckby comfortably, though the score line was a little flattering as the visitors had their moments. O’Connor & Anderson were excellent and Wingrove had his best game with a hat-trick.

My @The_doughboys M-o-M is @LloydBuckby at the heart of everything with @jrpehero solid as ever at the back and @carlos_lewis13 & @albzo1hunna linking up well on the right wing. The introduction of the pace of Ansu made a real difference as well.

Great effort from @LOVESTICK21 who never stopped harassing them and created problems with Long and, until his injury, Dore. The Defense was really resolute and stood firm. Good win!.

BREAKING NEWS : @NMarshy7 has decided to leave the club, despite his achievements during last season and being confirmed for 2018/19 as manager. Everyone at the Doughboys would like to wish him all the best and thank him for his commitment, getting the team to play with style.

F-T @PNSFC_official 1-3 @The_doughboys Relatively comfortable win for Town though hosts made a game of it and had their chances. @Matt_long92 was in fine form and @george_barnell and @Danimal1966 commanded the back. Magic ran them ragged as well.

Fully merited point for Wboro as they enjoyed the balance of play in the second half with only one long shot troubling Lashley. Fine display by @MjCirelli92 in midfield and Wilkes and Lea ran their proverbial socks off.

We are very sad to announce that Paul Davis, one of the Club’s most loyal supporters, home & away, passed away on Saturday. WTFC will be wearing black armbands on Boxing Day & our thoughts are for Paul & his family. RIP Paul - you will be greatly missed.

Remarkable resilient defensive performance under regular long ball pressure from hosts, but, Wboro stayed solid. Good display by Panter, who was targeted too often but kept going. Neo a constant menace and @LloydBuckby sorting out midfield.

Super fighting performance by @The_doughboys in the end. @AMcDon29 & @jrpehero were immense at the back - reading everything and @jackwiz_ made up for the numbers with effort and pace. @Beckaines led the line manfully but all put in a shift.

In the end, fully deserved victory for Wboro. Second half performance was miles better as they adjusted to the conditions and played the oppo better, scoring three good goals - one goal of the season and not looking like conceding.
