Her study reveals that only 4% of the population fully understands MTP insurance, while 52% have limited knowledge, and 44% are unaware of its purpose entirely. Many see it as just a legal requirement rather than a valuable protection policy. To bridge this gap, Barbra recommends that the UIA collaborates with local leaders and transport unions to run awareness workshops in high-traffic areas, distribute educational posters in local languages, and introduce community insurance ambassadors to enhance public understanding. #UIASoMEPartnership

Ivan Wamono, a student and researcher at @kyambogou, presents his findings on Life Insurance, exploring how micro-insurance products, public awareness campaigns, and financial literacy programs could enhance insurance penetration and customer engagement. His research also examines the decline in active policyholders from 85% to 60% identifying key factors behind this trend.
