- Looks dated
- Runs bad
- generally mediocre gameplay
- co-op with no matchmaking
- always online
- clearly unfinished

It really depends how much ownership matters to you? Personally I finish games and rarely go back.
Plus I don't think it's fair to say you'd walk away with nothing - you've had 5 years of access to 400+ games. If you go to the cinema you don't come out with nothing.

Rechargeable AA's are arguably better but ok. I put a new set into my Starfield controller when I started Starfield and I got the low battery warning last night after TWENTY EIGHT HOURS.
Onl Nintendo's Pro controller can match that and even then I get about 22-25hrs.

Well after 10hrs I feel like I've given it a fair crack but I'm out. I'm enjoying the story but I feel completely out of my depth with every other aspect of BG3.
I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going and looking up guides isn't for me.

Guns are the problem, not games. The whole world has access to games like Call of Duty yet it's America where shootings like this are happening because they're the ones giving people access to guns. That's the problem and has been since before shooting games even existed.

This for me is where

shines. Landed on a planet at random, find a structure full of mechs intent on destroying me. After destroying them all I found this bunker with skeletons complete with diary entries on how these mechs were brought to help but went rogue. Love it.

Years ago games actually looked/ran differently on different platforms and it was a topic worth discussing but these days games look identical across the board.

No. I've played pretty much every Zelda game and BotW is the only one I lost interest in about halfway in. I'll never understand why it's considered such a great open world, I found it empty and boring.

FYI - there are 5 games here launching in the next week or so. 4 of those games aren't launching on PlayStation. This does not mean PS is doomed just like Oxenfree 2 not launching on Xbox mean Xbox is doomed.
Not all games are on everything.

RDR didn't already get a PS4 remaster that runs at 60fps, that's the difference.
I promise you, very few people would have issue with TLoU Part 1 on PS5 had it not been for the PS4 version.

"No need for an Xbox" is what's been thrown at Xbox owners for the past few years. It's the same thing ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Just because Sony/MS games are on PC it doesn't mean everyone wants a PC. Price is a major barrier for me whilst as someone who shares my Xbox with my kids, so it simplicity.
