Khapulo, Baltistan Khapulo was once a part of Tibbeten Empire, you can still see Tibbeten influence in the area, in shape of architecture, landscape, traditions, features of people, language and so many. Still the area is called LITTLE TIBBET because of its proximity to Tibbet.

#Karakorams the highest Mountains range of Pakistan. The Karakoram, with its named derived from the Turkic word "Kara' meaning Black and "Koram" meaning Gravel. These impenetrable Mountains were seen as citadels and Towers of black gravel by the Central Asians and hence the name.

Gilgit Sutras: In 1931 around 3,000 folios of scripture copied on brick bark were found in Napura , Gilgit. These manuscripts are said to be around 1400 years old and are among the oldest Buddhist manuscripts. The manuscripts are known as Gilgit Lotus Sutras. #GilgitBaltistan
