Vince Russo & The Rock probably have the exact same tastes when you get down to it. Both were high on the same guys & deep down they were both huge Bret Hart fans. They were non wrestling fans who were big on their workrate co workers. Rock didn’t love the business.

People diss New Jack for mostly doing hardcore matches BUT HE COULD work when he wanted to! The guy was a genius & knew what the fans wanted despite his own personal preferences since he was an old school guy underneath the character he played.

New Jack & Warrior were both very similar. Good at what they did but the business was purely transactional to them.

Russo was like Warrior or New Jack, it was a job to him. He didn’t care about the business or forming bonds with people, which was held against him in the long run.

@SnowMed34 Bob Holly even says he’s as good as Shawn Michaels in the ring but WWE brass held his look against him.

If Vince Russo never joins WCW, HHH doesn’t dominate 2000 or 2003 & Vince McMahon likely runs WWE to this day or passes the company along to Jeff Jarrett like he tried to do before he got “canceled” over the affair lawsuit.

Tommy Blancha gave us the current era of WWE tbh. He was head writer around this time after Russo went to WCW. Without him, HHH isn’t running WWE today. He gave us the HHH/Steph era of 2000.
Stephanie McMahon betraying Vince and joining Triple H is one of the most epic plot twists of the Attitude Era JR and Lawler on commentary put it over the top
