Make a choice. Do you want to criticise Novus Ordo canonisations and liturgical rites? If so, you need to stop insisting Francis etc are popes because of alleged universal peaceful adherence. This rests on the same principles/arguments. Make a choice.

It is false that non-Guérardian sedevacantism ('totalism') entails forcing God to perform a miracle, apparition or some intervention. There are several other possibilities. This has been stated many times. It's a shame anyone continues to say otherwise.

Please say a prayer for a lovely, aged relative abroad. She collapsed and is in a coma with no brain activity. It doesn't look like there will be a priest coming – or, given her situation vis a vis the Church, that he would be able to do much if he did. But... God is good.

Oh man! You need 70 tweets to defend Francis' statement? But then maybe even 70 isn't enough to defend the indefensible. We can deal with this issue in one tweet: it was apostasy. See more below:

🚨The long-awaited Popesplainer’s response on the Pope Francis drama is here.🚨 This thread is very long (about 70 tweets). This response is Part I. I will later release a Part II addressing the second of Francis’s remarks, and why Francis doesn’t clarify himself

Modernists claimed Cardinal Newman as one of their own, and even some good anti-modernists have believed such claims. But Newman exposed and condemned the key ideas of what later came to be known as modernism – over fifty years before Pascendi. Read on:

Pascendi n. 42: 'Of all the insults they heap on them those of ignorance and obstinacy are the favourites. When an adversary rises up against them [...] they try to make a conspiracy of silence around him to nullify the effects of his attack.' Don't stoop to modernist tactics.

According to Vatican I, it's actually *heresy* to say that God's existence can't be known through natural reason, but only through faith.

This is one of the most controversial essays which we have published. No doubt will prove so even to our closest friends, and will take time to process. Nonetheless, we cannot see any other way of understanding what the Church teaches. Read on:

Disturbing: but like the lockdowns, this denying of a dying man the sacraments is Dignitatis Humanae and religious liberty in action: the Church is made subject to the state's conception of "just public order," (DH2) and Christ is uncrowned as King.

Around 1511, Cajetan wrote his famous work on The Pope and the Council. But in 1521, he wrote this, expressing what became Bellarmine's Fifth Opinion. Don't be deceived by "before God" or judgments. He is saying: *because* he can be judged, we can know he is not the Pope.

We get it. People feel doubting Novus Ordo Orders is just too much. It raises questions they don't know how to answer. The implications are frightening. That's why they sometimes lash out. But we have to put our fears aside and see what remains standing.

The enemies of God and of the Church are perfectly well aware that any internal quarrel amongst Catholics is a real victory for them. Hence it is their usual practice when they see Catholics strongly united, to endeavour by cleverly sowing the seeds of discord,

We are interregnumists, or interregnumites, or interregnumistas - whichever one you like. One of our pioneers called it, over 20 years ago. This term can't be used to try to distinguish oneself from "the dreaded 1958/64/65 sedevacantist", except in emphasis.

The Fatima messages and warnings have much, much more to do with St Robert Bellarmine's conclusion on the "heretic pope" question than you think. And it seems highly providential that his feast coincides with this anniversary. Here's why:
