Denny took the UL job in 1971-72 and retired in 1999-2000. In his 30 years he had zero scandals. Sure he had a minor NCAA issue but nothing scandalous.
In 16 years RP managed to have 3 high profile scandals and vacate 2 banners.

Happy 39th birthday to the 1980 National Champs. On March 24, 1980, UL beat UCLA in Indianapolis to capture its first ever NCAA title. As a 12 year old at the time those are memories I’ll always cherish. Go Cards!

Drew Deener just said that Nwora didn’t play well on Saturday vs NCST. I beg to differ. His shooting was off however he did score 14 points and grab 9 rebounds. He was 8-8 from the free throw line. That is a solid game in my mind.
