adding to our general knowledge of Black owned businesses, Atlanta Harvest is a Black-owned farm in Jonesboro. i got a huge bundle of kale, avocados, lemons, spinach, mini cucumbers, arugula, and husked corn for less than $30. 🥬
my dream world does not include me doing labor of any kind, but since that’s not feasible i will enjoy the work i do + be properly paid at the very least. but i suppose it’s nice to know what you have the ability to overcome? go off, i guess 😬
there isn’t and will never be a corporation, university, or client that deserves me regularly pushing myself to my limits + experiencing the imminent burnout that will result. what kind of life is that and how would i benefit from it?
3 weeks into my—and i can’t stress this enough— *amazing* new job, i now have two bed, two bath townhouse to myself for the cost of what i paid for just 1/2 bedrooms in LA. the moves made on faith are the best kind ❤️🤸🏾♂️💫
