Not funny, completely not funny. But because the girls were assaulted in Kebab shops and then given kebabs and drugs. I'm sure some were given money too but we are talking about girls here...

Happy to help if extra hands are needed got lots of food distribution experience 😋 No reason people should go without food.
The Protestant Ethic (otherwise known as the Protestant Work Ethic) is a theory which attributes hard work and discipline to an individual following Protestant Christianity...
@Rob_Kimbell
They don't represent labour, they seem to be trying to appease a tiny elite. I have a friend who's dad had him as a BBC 4 director, it was all inside connections. He's not even 28 😱
What a family to watch this quarantine, your boys doing chores and cleaning your beautiful home, learning and growing during a quarantine. Your wife helping the nation and Ray pushing. It worked so well, it was really beautiful 💥🌌

What We Do In The Shadows
The netflix movie 🎬 follows a group of vampires in New Zealand. No torture scene but some references which may not be too appropriate
Police forces interviewed say there has been a rise in carwash activities in their areas. Interviews suggest that some workers are subject to some form of labour/employment violation. This includes pay below the national minimum wage or excessive hours
Been speaking to my grandmother for hours ❤️ As a woman who has buried 80% of her grown adult daughters at her age, I have unlimited time, love and resources for this woman. She can rest easy that she has me until the bitter end 🌄
The sociologist Max Weber published a book The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism. Arguing, the Protestant Ethic was the main factor in the economic success of certain Protestant groups
I thought most working class Scots couldn't get a place anyway because they prioritize internationalism. When you go to Scotland you're more likely to meet the Portuguese, Greek, Nigerian. I didn't see 1 jamaican or person from the caribbean.
@Keir_Starmer

You will reintroduce tuition fees in Scotland.
Meaning thousands of working class talented intelligent Scottish children will not get the chance to go to university.
Meaning every Scottish student will be charged upwards of £36,000 to get a degree.
Socialist?
Socialist ma erse.
Patriarchy takes on different degrees/forms. It can be understood as systems which are organised around male authority. Degrees of patriarchy refers to the intensity of oppression on a specific dimension, e.g the size of the wage gap between men and women
Zodiacs aren't really my thing, but I enjoy the imagery of Aries being represented as the Ram. I love the Golden Fleece story as well so like that more than the: this week you will accomplish all your tasks summaries. I don't know all the Zodiac myths so don't ask!
Where did the Golden Fleece come from? In myth the fleece was cut from a winged ram sired by Poseidon and the nymph Theophane. The ram was sacrificed to Poseidon, its fleece taken, and Poseidon put the ram in the stars: the constellation Aries.

Humility saaaaa, but they’ve not promoted you in years, no one respects you, you do all the donkey work
“Oh give it her she’ll do it for you, she won’t even complain”
When I used pictures of Stalin holding a girl’s hand or Hitler walking with girl, at the end nobody wants to refer to these propaganda images of the past leaders now. They were relevant for some people in the past...
Great time for me to tell people travel Europe via train and coach. The Italian coach has four seaters with a table and the trains in the Netherlands have glass doors and are double deckers! Go Fleur 🌄
@jodyjsperling
What's the book? One of my favs, Franz Kafka was under read in his life but, after death is now a literary legend. The same in economics with Hayek, we often forget Freud became unpopular within his life for a very long time. Marx was exiled from two countries. I could go on ❤️❤️
Even if consuming such content doesn't make you feel inadequate. It is fair to recognise some content is certainly released to build a sense of inadequacy in individuals, think about how marketing builds up cultural fears and then pushes said products as solutions.
For my
#ChristmasDay
roast dinner I had a mini nut roast, (which I made same time as the nut roast loaf a couple days ago) with chestnut and shiitake mushroom gravy. Plus all the roasty veg and cranberry sauce.
100% flavour with no animals harmed. 🤗

Palestinian or Israeli, when these women are telling us what is happening in the war as a woman I actually believed them because in my experience women haven't lied about such things but I understand why the media is so determined to thrown on skepticism on their narratives.
I am a black woman with an American accent. I live in Leeds, where it is quite segregated. When I am out, running errands around the city center, it seems as if people look at me like they have never before seen a black person...
Even with fuller figure seemingly marketed to women if you're slim and looking for some inspiration I really like the content from Kenza.lifts. obviously I have a coach but it's still nice to see. I always think she looks wonderful 🌄
Just engage with their nasty narrative and rhetoric to see why they were trying to get people to kill themselves. So, they can be the chosen one, the chosen stallion, the chosen horse, and nobody was interested in competing with these clowns to begin with.
Meghan Markle meets Prince Harry when she is 35. Any of these individuals who are trying to tell you you are too old or anything... just remember the patriarchy behind that and how sad you have to be to try and force such a narrative onto anyone.
Marx was right about a lot of things, and he was wrong about a lot of things. Capitalism does increasingly produce inequality, inequality does lead to instability, however, he was oddly optimistic that there was an easily determined outcome...
Run the check has posted a 3 day rota job in Cornwall to deliver 12 pieces of art to two hospitals. 24k. I presume this will be a group piece? Might be of interest to some of you!
Thanks Dad ❤ I'm absolutely blown away and in awe of my mini Rose 🌹 and can't wait to see it flourish in its new home ✨
I know my clearing ground efforts aren't great but thus is life.
And this is a kind of thing I struggle with the UK, you have a mother who simply wants to feed her children and all someone needs to do is just tame their ego a bit. What's the point of railing a mother up. Stress upon stress again and again.
It's probably politically motivated, because individuals are so adamant at applying theories/false realities to us we don't really get the chance to explore how these predicaments came about. But I'm fine, I do enjoy attention but I'm all the less likely to try and go about it
Everytime I think it looks underseasoned, wash with wine midway. Eat for the rest of the week 😴 today tedious, the rest of the week just have to make potatoes 🥔
New figures show that last year more new council homes were started in London than in any year since the 1970s.
This morning
@SadiqKhan
and I visited brand new council homes built by
@lb_southwark
. Beautifully designed family-size homes with gardens, funded by
@MayorofLondon
.
and this is an outline of skin-tone preferences on the Gold coast (Ghana) by William Reade
*Reade was less objective than those citied above and also quite racist, even for his time but that's a long story
but even he, having read Bruce &Park's account, stayed truthful on this
Interestingly enough when you look at the figures for London, they are quite Singaporean. London has 258,000 resident millionaires, 384 centi-millionaires, and 36 billionaires.
The Rail Strike really brought LDN to a halt today and honestly, I love to see it. The aim is to show us how valuable these workers are to our lives. From where I am in Wimbledon via tube, it should take 40 mins, 56 mins max, today it took 3 hours and approx 4 buses.
I was thinking about portrayals of masculinity when I shared the image of Hercules. The image painted in the 16th century showed an older man who would have experienced trials of life in evidently a fit state fighting a lion. Our modern Hercules is typically quite young.
@nypost
I've been saying: if you're in your teens or twenties, you need to start combating this NOW. The crack hit of youth-worshipping culture isn't worth it.
Do NOT base your identity around being under thirty, don't mock people for being older, and spend some time around 30+ women!
When we're actively making progress in our lives our brains and bodies respond positively according to geneticist Steve Cole. Risk of heart disease and neurodigenitive disorders go down, antiviral responses go up but this is when you are striving towards a noble goal. Interesting
What's that movie where the evil villain has a plan to turn the UK into a massive prison? He then unveils the plans to international investors all while nodding his head vehemently
@LizLandUK
You're sweet, earnest and intelligent ❤ I'll do some reading now but please know obviously I'm not ultra sharp in this area but it's always nice just to have women help guide you in certain ways if that makes sense.
I had a best friend who was trying to make the Olympic Swimming Team and they actually never did but one of our favorite pastimes was to watch The Real Housewives of Cheshire so I am very familiar with Dawn
The stories begin nearly identically, it's just the differing endings. The Brothers created 2 Red Riding Hood stories. There are only so many times you can read a fairy tale back to back and enjoy it, haha (I did this to myself)
Today you would have turned 18 had still been here on Earth. But you’re in Heaven. My devotion to celebrating my son’s life continues, beyond the realms.
Happy Heavenly Birthday my son.
It’s important to follow up Marx’s thoughts with Weber’s on rationalization/disenchantment. This is a huge oversimplification but basically, Marx shows that capitalism is unstable and Weber shows how we continue to deal with that instability avoiding...
That was what was said when I was in Ammanford. They need people to fall in line with their narratives and one of the best ways to do that is by making everybody completely broke so they have to fall in line. In some ways, desperation leading to complicity. I'll read today 📖 ❤️
They thought after all that Photoshop they would be sailing clear sort of like with the London olympics ceremony where they have a ship opening and my ancestors running out and getting to work. That is why I'm not really feeling it, because today I'm working 🌄
So, I don't know if it's because I've now relocated to Swansea but when last in London I saw Swansea advertised everywhere which is great! But in Swansea, we have double-deckers too, and they're seemingly only advertising Exorcist: Believer. Never experienced this
Thanks to Jester Mouse I have the perfect opportunity to share my Pear Tree, William 🍐 I might go see my other trees soon but haven't had my fingers in the mud for a while. The brown stuff is coffee granules I just decided I don't want. Time to
