@neiltyson Because, unlike most people that revere themselves, they revere something greater. You should try it sometime.

@sweatystartup Nick, seriously man? The only people youāre cold calling during the Super Bowl are your Amish friends with a phone. I like many of your takes, this is in poor taste and, frankly, dishonest.

My 17-year-old daughter asked me recently, "Dad, did you hear about the Cybertruck blowing up in front of the Trump hotel?" I said, "Sadly, I did hear that, from many dishonest news sources. Do you want to know what really happened?" After I explained to her in detail how the media made it appear like it was an @Tesla issue, she said: "I sure hope @elonmusk doesn't take that. It's not right." To which I said, "He won't. But don't worry, there is a reason these legacy media companies are coming to an end. They will reap what they sow. And no, they'll never learn."

Recently, I attended a mastermind with about 20 authors all of which who had sold over 100,000 copies of a book. Of this group, over 90% said their next book would be some type of self or hybrid publishing model. Itās just nonsensical at this point to go with a traditional publisher. I certainly donāt think after my next book coming out in April Iāll ever go with another traditional publisher again.

I think about this all the time. I could go viral on LinkedIn all the time. Just find a common enemy and beat it to death. Every once in a while, I believe thatās good. But as a business model, it grates on the soul. Yet, itās what the brain, and the algorithm, seek. Very frustrating indeed.

I heard someone recently talk about all the negative energy they were experiencing in the US, and how they needed a break from it. Honestly, this person needs a break from media, not from the US. You'd feel overwhelmed worldwide if you were consuming media all day. #Disconnect
