Did you spot the mines first? You have to look at them and press the T (default keybind). This is a vanilla game feature that WS doesn't change.

When setting up a multiplayer game, the top right corner has a "paremeters" button. It's pretty badly placed and thus sadly easy to miss.

Hello, there is no polisario or moroccan army in the cdlc. This is a 100% fictive scenario set in Argana, which is not touching real world politics.

The XM8 rifle already existed in the A2 PMC DLC and quite a few popular mods for A3. We wanted to add a fresh rifle to the 2035 setting, and not just remake what's been done before. It was designed back in early 2018 - there weren't as many bullpup rifles in the game yet.

By the way, the Laws of War Demining Drone, and the ED-1 Mini UGV from Contact can also be used to spot mines. They should spot them on their own even, without having to press the T key.

You can use the new server parameters to disable tasks. Skipping tasks will give you some intel on start. This helps to speed up the progress and allows you to semi-continue in multiplayer.
