The 6'6 sophomore is one of just 3 players in the portal right now to average a double-double last season, and is the only underclassman to have done so at the moment.
VMI sophomore forward Taeshaud Jackson has entered the transfer portal. He averaged 10.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, and shot 33.0 percent from 3-point land.

Through the first three months of the season, it was only D2's on him. I truly believe if a staff gets in on a kid like that early in the process, they land him. Instead everyone waits because he's not ranked highly, one team offer him, and boom, everyone's in.

Same thing happens on the HS end, a kid like Dyllan Thompson, whom I had as a high MM talent all year long, was completely unoffered until Georgia Tech comes in and gets him late. You can't convince me that a Low-Major doesn't get him done if they build a relationship early.
