RT and let’s get to it 🧵 Here’s a simple way to get start your web3 journey especially if you have no liquid💰 So it’s January 1 and you have no money right? Probably in your twenties, with your parents and seeing everyone else talk about their success from web3 and you have no idea on how you should get in and be a part of this “land flowing with milk and honey”. You’re currently a “broke guy/girl” who wants better from life. This more often than not means you have a lot of free time on your hands and here’s how you can change your life this year. Now here’s what to do: > Locking in Habits! Habits make man Delete Instagram, TikTok, Netflix and every other app you know takes your time and reduces your productivity, even here on X unfollow accounts that don’t add value to you, curate your TL, no more fooling this year! If you channel the hours unnecessarily spent scrolling on those apps into studying and learning, trust me you’ll become a beast in no time, you can’t keep doing the same thing every year and expect a change. The habits you take on now are what will determine if your year will be a wonderful one or just like the previous ones. You can either make excuses or lock in and make money. Sure you wanna “have fun”, “catch cruise”, hangout with friends and party, but the good soft life you want to live comes at a cost and eventually you’ll be grateful you paid the price. So shut everyone out and lock in! literally! > Now use the loads of free time you now have to read X threads & content on how to analyze tokens and spot runners on pump(dot)fun and dexscreener. I’ll attach some useful threads from valuable accounts in the other parts of this post. > Apps to download: - Telegram & Discord - Phantom & Solflare - Zerion, Meta mask, Asset Dash - Bybit to off-ramp: > Trading Familiarize yourself with telegram scanner and trading bots. For scanners there’s Pluto, Rick, Phanes and Pepe. And for trading bots we have Granite, Bonk, PepeBoost, Trojan, Shuriken etc I mostly trade with Granite bot for its extremely fast speed and cheap transaction fees: Learn how to use Photon and BullX too, they’re useful! > Journaling Create a telegram group just for yourself and add the scanner bots: Rick and Phanes (@/rickburpbot and @/phanes_bot), paste contract addresses in the group for them to scan tokens for you and journal them. Learn how to make onchain analysis to find profitable wallets and copytrade them. For the first couple of weeks, you’d be getting a lot of failed tokens that go to 0 - which we call rugs, trust me that’s fine, everyone starts wobbly, but later you’d know what parameters to set and how you should navigate scanning for new tokens & runners, you only need a couple of runners to 100x+ and offset the rugs. > Progressing Now you’ve scanned a couple of 100x’s in a month, you now know how to pick them and spot them and it’s showing on your group PNL card, you’ve also linked up with like minded individuals who are also hungry for success. You’re getting good, you can then come on X and post your calls, you may not get visibility for the first couple of weeks or months even, but a way to do that is to shill to influencers (who are usually callers too), trust me most of us check our DM requests once in a while, and no influencer would see you consistently drop runners in their DMs/comments and fade you, that’s how you become their quant! At this point if you still don’t have the liquidity to ape (trade) your own calls, you can tell them and they’ll fund you since you’ve made them bread, or they can add you to their groups and put you on a salary for being a good caller, that’s one of the beauties of web3, your life can literally change forever from here. 1/2
