Over the years I’ve been asked multiple times why some of the oldest @CMSAthletic1 @CMSboard high school softball fields do not have lights. @mphs_sb @EMeckAthletics others Any reply from @CMSboard Seems like a major Title IX violation Equity? #GirlSports

@SCSportsReport I sure could use some lights…the “boys” lights don’t quite shine on the girl’s side for the 21 years I’ve been there. It’s hard to see that yellow ball in the dark!

This hits home in actual location (to where I grew up) and to what I’ve seen (in smaller portions) over the years. Sad…Coaching is hard, but unfortunately, this is becoming the norm in a sport nobody is going pro in.
