I’m not sure how the two are comparable, but here we go , So using a metaphor it’s like the people writing the constitution were the people putting on a play and the Bible was the people in the audience watching the play and writting what they witnessed. I believe in the constitution and wouldn’t agree with it being changed to fit the times. I feel the Bible is more of a guide to take from about being a good person, I fully believe in the Ten Commandments (most are common sense you would hope) but I believe also that people interject their own pieces into their writing when viewing things. The Bible is said to be the word of god but again we’d be naive to not understand it’s the word of God through witnesses. I’ll be a broken record but I believe in the Ten Commandments I believe in God, I love God but I don’t believe in a lot of what the Bible holds. That’s my opinion and my perspective but I do respect anyone that believes in their own way. I would never try to take away whatever helps guide someone through life and keeps them going.
