Holy moly, I just realised that this scene allows for that whole whistle scene with Gordon and Henry to feel more earned,
Having the story establish the whistles and then use that as a significant plot device at the end. Incredible reworking of this story!
Out of all the way for STH to find out which is which twin. This by far was the smartest method to figure it out. Shows how smart this man is with engines. GOD TEIR WORK @/RhysDarys

Disliking Middle Engine because of one single line from TFC is a bit odd for me.
There’s a fun part of the story and it introduces an interesting concept for all engines.
The fact they ALL hate being middle engines, including the tank engines.
