While Congress remains deaf to most Americans demand for term limits, we get so focused on elected officials we forget Federal judges( only Fed not state judges) appointed FOR LIFE..WTF RIGHT…LIFE… the rationale WAS judges should be free from the political tug of war…from potential corruption and influence...LMMFAO….. Most people just assume judges are fair (oh ok) free fromcorruption & influence peddling...sadly no…they’re people too the statistics in Florida,when I practiced, were only approx 14% cases reversed on appeal….most lower court rulings upheld, sometimes for the most flimsy reasons; on procedures or technologies, allowing the appellate court to ignore the facts.…it’s significantly less in the Federal courts with most cases taking over5 years to even wind their way through a system where the fees & costs can easily get into the 7 figures….. we must start demanding Federal judges run for office every 4 years…maximum 6 or so much of our gains will be frustrated by these “neutral “ characters. I litigated in pretty much every county in Florida and all 4 Federal district courts, for over 30 years, so take what I say for what it's worth
