You gotta love when people want to pretend they have answers, and then they block you because they already know how weak their argument is. 1st, she didn't say in her original post that they were more likely to cheat. She said they would cheat. She made an absolute assertion. 2nd she's saying she studied this subject (porn use and cheating) but if she did then she'd immediately know that correlation does not equal causation. You'd think someone claiming to know because of their vast studies would know how silly their argument is. This doesn't excuse watching porn. You're still lusting after a woman or man or questionably gendered person wearing a fur suit that isn't your wife or husband. But that's just it...you don't need porn to be a lecherous dirtbag that cheats on your wife. You don't even need porn to ogle women. What it does do is redefine pornography because if you remove access to porn as we know it then porn doesn't go away. It just changes into something that wiggles around the law. Then you're trying to outlaw potential activities that might be considered porn because of the risk that someone somewhere might get turned on...oh the humanity. I could go into the slippery slope of this, but the point is that banning porn doesn't fix anything. It's just announcing to the world that you're such a horny pervert that you can't show any restraint so you need other people to do for you what you refuse to do for yourself...and that's just sad and pathetic. Be the wonderful creation God made you to be and deal with your struggles head-on. Don't pawn them off on society like a coward. Go to God if you believe porn is a sin, and repent for it. Lean on God's grace and white knuckle your way through it with his help. It'll get better. If you don't think it's a sin then I think you'll have a heck of a difficult time convincing most Christians that it isn't a sin. The good thing is that their opinions don't matter. The only opinions that matter is yours and God's...and his matters a lot more than yours. Romans 14:22-23. Just be honest with yourself about the subject matter or else you might find yourself in for a real bad time on judgement day.
