Totally forgot the golden globes were happening but was THRILLED to learn about Demi Moore winning for The Substance. I thought due to the film's genre she'd be overlooked - so happy she wasn't cause it really is one of the best performances of the year

That is wild. But I guess it's more high concept and this list isn't really factoring in inflation....like for Philadelphia to be that high up there, if adjusted for inflation it more than likely beats out Gladiator 2. And Gladiator 2 has premium screening shit like Dolby and imax etc

I liked Episode 1 of #CreatureCommandos. As someone who thinks Gunn’s The Suicide Squad was incredible, I was surprisingly a bit let down—it felt like ‘animated Suicide Squad,’ just like exactly what you’d expect from a James Gunn show - which isn't bad, Still really good, but as the launch of a new DC Universe, it didn’t excite me since it felt too similar to his previous DC work. Then Episode 2 completely flipped things for me. I fell in love with it. It showed what makes this unique compared to what Gunn’s done before—how much he can mine out of these characters in such a short time. And to have 1 & 2 feel totally unified yet with different genres. Knowing each episode will focus on a character, like a comic book issue, building into a season that feels like a full graphic novel?
