He’s available at 16-1 for every individual major. So you take this same $1400 and make four bets of $350 instead. If he wins any one major you’re netting $5600 instead of the $4900 you’re getting here. On the off chance he balled out and won twice you’re netting $11,200 instead of that same $4900 you’re stuck with here. You could also hedge the individual bets any Sunday that he’s in contention. Bad bet.

The #illini’s entire March ceiling will essentially be established over these next four games. 0-4: Bubble, will have no expectation to win a game if in. An all time collapse. 1-3: The free fall is still on, their resume will get them in but for the 7th time in BU’s 8 years, no 2nd weekend. 2-2: Stop me if you’ve heard this one - “If we get hot at the right time we can definitely make another deep run.” 3-1: They’ve either found or rediscovered something, it’s perfectly reasonable to resume Final Four chatter at this point. 4-0: Every cylinder is firing in absolute unison. In a season with no truly dominant team that’s gonna steamroll its way to a Natty, why not us?

There’s a three track run on Late Registration that I think rivals any three consecutive songs on any album ever made, by anyone. But at some point you just have to separate the art from the artists because it turns out the more you find out about them 90% of all these people are either straight pieces of shit/actual criminals/clinically insane. Many are combos. Nature of the industry….hard to fathom why.
